ANALISIS AKTIVITAS PASAR MANDALIKA TERHADAP KINERJA LALU LINTAS DI JALAN PASAR BERTAIS, KOTA MATARAM

Abstrak

One of the activities that can attract movement is the market, market activity affects the surrounding traffic conditions such as the mandalika market located on Jln. Pasar Bertais, Mataram City has a large enough level of activity that affects the performance of the road in front of it, the road in front of the Mandalika Market is used by the community when going to the market and other shopasar near the market, this road is also used by the community when going to the bus terminal in front of the Mandalika market. This study aims to analyze the impact of Mandalika Market activities on traffic performance on Jln. Pasar Bertais, Mataram City.

In this study the data used are primary data and secondary data, where for secondary data obtained from related agencies, namely the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to find out the population data of Mataram city, while for primary data obtained by conducting direct field surveys to obtain road geometric data, daily traffic (LHR) and side obstacle data as for the survey time, namely on Monday and Tuesday (Weekdays) and Saturday and Sunday (Weekends), then after the data is obtained, the data will be analyzed using the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) method for urban roads.

From the results of the analysis, it was found that the value of traffic volume on Jln. Pasar Bertais, Mataram City the highest occurred on Monday with a total of 3373 vehicles / hour and the maximum number occurred in the afternoon hours with a total of 1141 vehicles / hour or volume 680.9 smp / hour (V), free flow speed (VB) of 35.424 km / hour, road capacity value (C) of 1152 skr / hour, degree of saturation (DS) value of 0.60, and level of service C and the value of side obstacles is 904.2 which is included in the very high class of side obstacles (ST).
